Milltek Sport Civic Cup enjoys busy 2022 MotorsportDays Live event at Silverstone

The 2022 MotorsportDays Live event held at Silverstone last weekend (4th & 5th November), has seen the Milltek Sport Civic Cup enjoy a lot of attention ahead of the 2023 season.

The popular post-season show returned to the International configuration of the British Grand Prix venue, with cars provided by 2022 competitors Pro Race Alloys and Kinetic Motorsport for prospective new drivers to try out.

The cars were in action across both days of the event, with drivers testing the limits of the Northamptonshire circuit in changeable weather conditions, with an eye to moving up to the championship for the 2023 season.

Following the event, newly announced Championship Manager Ashley Gallagher commented:

“The Milltek Sport Civic Cup is one of the most affordable one-make tin-top championships in the UK, with grids increasing year on year, providing some great on-track action. This was my first visit to the 2022 MotorsportDays Live event at Silverstone and the interest in this championship was high during both days,” said Gallagher.

“This event provided the opportunity for drivers to take out either an EP3 or FN2 Civic Cup car, racing versions of iconic road cars with a long history of racing competition. We were able to provide a clear platform for the drivers to take the cars out on track, experience the potential behind them and what we can offer as part of the 2023 championship season.”

“After a great season in 2022 for the championship, We look forward to welcoming both new and existing customers to the grid in this close, action packed championship next year.”
