Louie Capozzoli is the latest driver to announce his debut in the 2023 Milltek Sport Civic Cup, where the former MINI Challenge driver will drive an Area Motorsport-run Civic EP3.
Having secured the 2021 MINI Challenge Rookie title and Vice-Champion, Louie is already experienced in racing in close quarters with single-make tin-top machinery, giving him preparation for the Civic Cup always offers and duly provides: Close quarter single-make racing.
Starting the season with multiple champions Area Motorsport offers the best chance for Louie to hit the ground running as the Civic Cup moves to a single class this year with everyone running in Cup Class Civics.
The Civic Cup returns for 2023 and as a recognised feeder series to the TCR UK Touring Car Championship, is an opportunity for Louie to work his way up the ladder, which he is excited about being a part of.
“I’m so excited to announce that I will be competing in the 2023 Milltek Sport Civic Cup, where I am driving for Area Motorsport in my debut season. I’m really looking forward to racing in this exciting and competitive championship.”
