Jake Renshaw confirms second season with BSR in Milltek Civic Cup return

Jake Renshaw will stay on for a second year with BSR, as he announces his return to the Milltek Civic Cup for 2026.

Jake will continue his second year with the EP3 Civic, as he looks to improve upon his debut season in the championship.

The highlight of the 2025 season for the Nottinghamshire-based driver was taking his first win in the Paul Winfield Trophy, a class for less experienced drivers in the championship.

Jake scored one win at Silverstone before making a further six appearances on the podium, ending the year in the top five of the PWT points standings.

Oulton Park race two was a further highlight for Jake as he ran in second place for the first half of the race, keeping pace with early race leader Daniel Petters.

Having shown significant progress in his first season, the BSR driver is now aiming higher for his second season in the championship.

“I really enjoyed my first year in the Milltek Civic Cup, and this has spurred me on to return for 2026 to improve upon my early performances. Working with BSR has been such a benefit, so returning with them for a second year means that I can put my knowledge to the test,” explained Jake.

“Silverstone and Oulton Park proved that I can stand on the podium and take home the silverware, so I’m now working hard on my racecraft so I can start challenging for the Paul Winfield Trophy title and work hard towards securing that first overall podium finish.”

Championship Manager Jack Finlan is delighted that Jake will be back for his second straight year in the championship.

“Jake made his debut in the Milltek Civic Cup last year and hit the ground running, showing that he has the talent to go far in this championship. Returning as a second-year driver offers him the chance to now go further up the grid and enjoy more success,” explained Jack.

“The Paul Winfield Trophy offers less experienced drivers a chance to fight for silverware each weekend, as they look to move further up the grid. I look forward to seeing how Jake performs next year.”
