Joshua Turnbull has announced that he will remain with BSR ahead of his full-season debut in next year’s Milltek Civic Cup.
Josh will be behind the wheel of the EP3 he drove during the season finale at Brands Hatch last month, where he impressed with a spectacular drive in the final race of the year.
The former SuperOne Kart Champion, who has transitioned directly from karting into car racing, went from 25th position on the grid to take a very respectable 10th-place finish.
Following his first weekend competing in the championship, plans are already in place for Josh to get more seat time before the 2026 season starts at Brands Hatch on 4-5 April.
As he prepares for his first full year with BSR in the championship, Josh reflected on the Brands Hatch weekend and the new season ahead.
“To be able to announce my entry in the 2026 Milltek Civic Cup is an exciting moment for me. Having already experienced just one race weekend, I can’t wait to get back on track next season and get stuck into what is such an exciting and close championship,” said Joshua.
“The Brands Hatch finale was a good first weekend for us, and despite the puncture in the first race, I showed what I can do by going from the back of the field to finish in tenth place. I know next year will be a learning year, however, I’m really excited to see what I can achieve with such a great team in BSR.”
Championship Manager Jack Finlan is delighted to welcome Josh to the grid for the 2026 season.
“I’m really pleased to see Josh sign up for his first full season in the Milltek Civic Cup, following his debut last month in the season finale. To many, this would be a daunting first step out of karting. Josh took the weekend in his stride and let his on-track performance do the talking,” explained Jack.
“As we welcome new and returning drivers to the championship ahead of what is already looking to be an exciting and bumper year for the Civic Cup, I wish Josh all the best in his first full season.”
