Adam Parker commits to 2026 Milltek Civic Cup campaign with top-ten ambitions

Adam Parker has confirmed his commitment to compete in the 2026 Milltek Civic Cup, returning to the championship as an independent, self-run team with a clear objective of breaking into the top ten.

Following its debut campaign in 2025, where the family-run outfit finished 18th overall, Parker has elected to build on the experience gained and mount a significantly strengthened challenge next season.

Preparations for 2026 are already well underway, with the team investing heavily over the winter. A new engine and gearbox have been secured, while a revised suspension package is currently on order as part of a focused development programme.

Driver Adam Parker will once again take the wheel for the 2026 campaign. Parker, who is autistic, continues to play a central role in the team’s mission to demonstrate that talent, determination and the right support can overcome barriers within motorsport.

Running independently once again, Parker has been keen to acknowledge the support received throughout the paddock during its first full season.

“Last year was a huge learning curve for us,” said team manager Andrew Parker. “We came into the Civic Cup knowing it would be tough, and it absolutely was. What really stood out was the amount of help and encouragement we received from other teams and individuals, which we’re incredibly grateful for.”

“We finished 18th, but that doesn’t reflect where we believe we can be. The goal for 2026 is very clear: we want to be fighting inside the top ten.”

The early commitment to the 2026 season allows the team to focus on development, testing and, crucially, the building of new commercial partnerships.

“This isn’t just about racing,” Parker added. “It’s about showing what’s possible with the right environment and support. We’re open to conversations with businesses who see the value in that message and want to help us make 2026 a success.”

Championship Manager Jack Finlan has welcomed Adam’s return, with him confirmed as the 30th entry for the 2026 grid so far.

“It’s fantastic to welcome Adam back to the Milltek Civic Cup for 2026. Adam’s determination is inspiring, and the team’s progress has been great to watch. I’m also pleased to confirm that with their entry, we’ve now hit 30 cars confirmed for next season—an exciting milestone for the championship.”
