Jack Harding will return for his second year in the Milltek Sport Civic Cup, joining Ben Sharpe Racing for the 2023 season.

Making his debut in 2022 as part of a family-run team, Jack impressed as he finished the season fifth in the Cup class standings, taking eight top-five finishes from eleven races in the process.

During what has been recognised as the most competitive season yet in the Civic Cup, Jack was in the hunt for a first win during the frantic title decider at Snetterton last year, despite the difficult conditions at the Norfolk venue.

Clearly showing that the top step of the podium isn’t far away after one season, Jack will race under the Ben Sharpe Racing banner, where the popular Northampton-based former Civic Cup race winner returns to the championship as a team owner in 2023.

With Jack confirmed as the first of a potential two-car entry for the new season, Sharpe welcomes Harding to the team, where he will drive a Civic EP3 this year.

“I have known Jack for a while and I’m really excited to work with him this year, he is super-fast and a clean racer and has all the right attributes to battle at the front every weekend,” explained Sharpe.

“After doing a few Civic Cup events last season, Jack was immediately on the pace and battling the series regulars for podiums. I look forward to giving him the opportunity to be able to do that again and go one better for that elusive first Civic Cup race win and get him in the hunt for the 2023 title.”
