Anthony Gannon will make his debut in the 2023 Milltek Sport civic Cup, where he will join championship stalwarts Kinetic Motorsports.

Anthony has followed the Civic Cup in its various forms for the last eight years, now making the transformation from Superfan to Civic Cup driver this year, where he will be behind the wheel of Civic EP3 Cup car.

The Wiltshire-based driver, director and co-owner of Detail Car Care has completed many laps at the Castle Combe circuit in his track day EP3, and now makes the step up to what is recognised as the most competitive one-make championship in the UK.

The Civic EP3 Cup car that Anthony will race is currently in build, with the start of the 2023 season on the Snetterton 300 layout now only 75 days away.

Anthony is excite to be making the dream transition from fan to driver this year and is eager for the new season to get underway.

“I have been an active motorsport enthusiast my whole life – karting, rallying and track days. After avidly following the Civic Cup with my family by my side for the past eight years, we are super excited to finally be on the grid! We’ve had a lot of interaction with many drivers and teams throughout the eight years – such a friendly club,” said Anthony.

“Dave Buky has been a big part of making this happen and Kinetic Motorsport are building me what is going to be an amazing Cup car. I’m really looking forward to our journey ahead together where I can finally scratch that itch and go racing!”
