Buky to make Milltek Sport Civic Cup comeback at Croft

Milltek Sport Civic Cup stalwart David Buky has announced that he will make his comeback to the championship for rounds three and four at Croft in Yorkshire.

The Kinetic Motorsport boss made a one-off return in last year’s exciting Snetterton Finale, where he got behind the wheel of his Honda Civic EP3 in difficult conditions, after focusing on running his squad for the 2022 season.

Having started the 2023 season working with debutant Anthony Gannon and returning talent Jordan Brennan, Buky’s entry means that Kinetic Motorsport will expand their fleet with three drivers out for Croft running the all-new Kinetic motorsport livery.

Having competed in the Civic Cup over the last eight years, the Preston-born driver won the last edition of the Class A championship, has multiple podium finishes to his name as well as being a top-five contender for championship honours in previous seasons.

Snetterton was the venue for the two opening rounds of the 2023 season across the Easter weekend and also the first event of the year where the new championship format came into effect with everyone driving Cup Class regulated Civics only.

As the day’s countdown to the Croft event next weekend, David is excited to join a highly competitive field for 2023.

“Having taken a year out it was nice to sit on the other side of the fence and give back to a passion and sport I have loved since I was young! I started Kinetic Motorsport to support drivers and to give people a platform to do what I have enjoyed for many years,” David explained.

“An opportunity has come where I am able to race and support the team by sharing my data and help develop the drivers we have on the team. I am looking forward to getting back behind the wheel and to go racing once again. A big thanks to the continued support of my sponsors Chemodex, Mtec Brakes and B-G Racing for making this possible.”
