Bradley Kent to debut for Pro Alloys Racing in 2023 Milltek Sport Civic Cup Finale

The field for the 2023 Milltek Sport Civic Cup Finale taking place at Brands Hatch this weekend gains several new faces, including TCR UK race winner Bradley Kent.

The three-time race winner will make his debut at the wheel of the Pro Alloys Racing / Maximum Motorsport-developed Honda Civic FN2, which will also be making its championship debut.

Unmissable in its high-vis yellow scheme, Bradley will be putting the car through its paces during testing on Friday.

Race day on Sunday will provide the Pro Alloys Racing driver will have his first taste of the rapid fifteen-minute qualifying session and the final two fifteen-minute races of the year.

Picked as part of the 2023 Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing Junior Driver programme, Bradley has raced the Hyundai Veloster N TCR this year in TCR UK. He now joins the Civic Cup in a one-off outing ahead of assessing what his option will be for 2024.

The Pro Alloys Racing driver will also have familiar on-track company as older brother Lewis returns for his second Civic Cup event, after debuting at Silverstone last month.

This weekend will see one of three drivers crowned as the 2023 Milltek Sport Civic Cup Champion, as Dan Thackeray, Max Edmundson and Alistair Camp fight it out to see who will be victorious.

This year’s title winner will also be awarded a test drive in Italy in the world’s newest global touring car, the JAS-designed and built Honda Civic Type R TCR FL5, at the end of the current season.

The opportunity is designed to give the champion an opportunity to showcase their talent in a vehicle that represents Honda at the top level of touring car racing and that builds on the 75 titles and more than 400 wins of the FK2 and FK7 Civic Type R TCRs.

Championship Promoter Stewart Lines welcomes both Bradley and the new FN2 to the Civic Cup.

“It’s good to see Bradley make his debut in the Civic Cup and help us to further develop the Civic FN2. 2024 will see the introduction of a build kit solely for that model, so more people can convert the Honda Civic FN2 from a road car to a race car and compete in the Civic Cup.”
