The Milltek Sport Civic Cup will receive further support from tyre supplier Goodyear from the 2024 season and beyond, after an extension of the current tyre deal already in place.
Named as one of the official feeder series to the TCR UK Touring Car Championship for the last two years and carrying that duty once more into next year, The Milltek Sport Civic Cup will be in action at all seven venues in 2024 alongside TCR UK.
Known for its close single make tin top racing, where both the Honda Civic EP3 and FN2 models go head to head against each other in frantic fifteen-minute races, the Milltek Sport Civic Cup is one of the best and most affordable ways to go racing in the UK Club Racing scene.
2023 was the debut season of the Goodyear Diamond Trophy for drivers aged 40 and over in the championship, whilst this year’s overall championship fight went down to the last event of the season with three drivers in with a shout of title glory.
Showcasing average grid sizes of 25+ this year, the 2023 season provided 9 different winners from 17 rounds and looks set to repeat its competitive close racing profile next year.
Goodyear UK Manager Micky Butler is excited to continue to be a part of the journey as Civic Cup grows its profile within the UK Club Racing scene.
