Charlotte Birch returns for first full season campaign in the Milltek Sport Civic Cup

Charlotte Birch has announced that she will return to the Milltek Sport Civic Cup for a full-season campaign in 2024, staying with her family-run Vinna Sport squad in the Civic EP3.

The Vinna Sport driver made her debut in the final round of the 2023 season at Brands Hatch, where she faced a tough learning curve during the championship-deciding event.

Despite a tough weekend at the Kent circuit, the Surrey-based driver has not been deterred and will be back for her first full season in the championship, which begins at Brands Hatch on 13 -14 April, once again on the Indy circuit.

Eligible for overall championship honours as well as the Paul Winfield Trophy for rookie drivers, Charlotte is looking to make her mark on the Civic Cup this year.

Having raced previously in GT machinery, which requires a mastery of rear wheel drive, the front wheel drive Civic EP3 is a new challenge and one that Charlotte is ready to take on with the family team.

“I am looking to hit the season running this year with a winter test programme in place, I’m working hard to learn the ways of the Civic, after mainly driving GT cars in the past it’s a bit of a change of direction for me.

With my father’s team Vinna Sport, I will be looking to get some respectable results in my first full campaign in the championship.”

You can find the Milltek Sport Civic Cup at the 2024 Autosport International Show, in Hall 3, on Stand 3650 from 11 – 14 January at the Birmingham NEC.
