Young gun Harvey Caton will return for his third season in the Milltek Sport Civic Cup, switching across to the Ben Sharpe Racing team for 2024.

2023 was a step forward for the Staffordshire-based driver, who took podiums at both Croft and Silverstone on his way to finishing in fifth place overall in the end-of-year Drivers’ Standings.

Indeed, his drive at Croft was marked as one of the stand-out performances of 2023, as Harvey chased down title contender Dan Thackeray in the second race at Croft to claim his maiden Civic Cup podium finish.

Having driven for the family-run team in 2022 and 2023, Harvey moves across to race-winning outfit Ben Sharpe Racing for the new season, where the team ran early points leader Jack Harding, who took victory at Snetterton.

Ben Sharpe’s Northamptonshire-based outfit knows how to win races in the Civic Cup, as well as having experience in other forms of motorsport.

With this in mind, Harvey is looking to take that one step up the ladder and be a regular front-runner in the championship. With Dad Chris also working alongside Harvey, 2024 already looks to be going in the right direction.

I’m absolutely buzzing for this season, I can’t wait to get back at it, aiming to achieve better results than my previous season.”
