2023 race winner Will Redford will move across from Pro Alloys Racing to join BSR – Ben Sharpe Racing for the 2024 Milltek Sport Civic Cup season.
The Cheshire-based driver was a title contender last year until late in the season, taking his maiden Civic Cup win in the second race at Oulton Park and a further three podiums to his credit.
Will is driving a Civic EP3 for his third season in the Civic Cup, meaning that he now has two seasons of knowledge behind him about the car and showed that he was one of the faster drivers last year.
Ben Sharpe and BSR – Ben Sharpe Racing are already known race winners in the Civic Cup, where the team ran early 2023 championship leader Jack Harding as well as rising talent Daniel MacDonald.
Sharpe himself is also a race winner from his time as an active driver in the championship and has an expanded lineup, with Harvey Caton already announced in the team for 2024.
With plenty of preparation and hard work already underway to get the car ready for the season opener at Brands Hatch, which takes place on 13-14 April using the Indy circuit, Will shares his thoughts about his goals for the 2024 season.
“I’m really excited to announce I’ll be running with Ben Sharpe Racing this year! I’ve worked with Ben a few times now, most notably at the BRSCC Driven by Racing event at Silverstone where I sat in as his driver coach for the day. Ben really impressed me with his approach to running the cars and I think his results in the past speak for themselves,” explained Will.
“2023 was a difficult year for me with lots of ups and downs. However, I’m really excited to show what I can do this year with a fully refreshed car, mindset and approach to racing. This is the best prepared approaching a season I’ve ever been and I can’t thank all my partners enough for allowing me to get on track!”

The Pre-Season Launch Day takes place at Snetterton on Thursday 28th March, whilst the 2024 season gets underway proper at Brands Hatch, using the Indy circuit, on April 13-14.
