Macaulay Austin has signed with Pro Alloys Racing ahead of making his debut in the 2024 Milltek Sport Civic Cup.
The Gwent-based driver will drive one of the Pro Alloys Racing Civic EP3s as he makes a return to circuit racing for the first time since competing in the Mini Challenge Festival at Brands Hatch eight years ago.
Macaulay has enjoyed a varied motorsport career, where he has seen success in both National and Club level karting, as well as being a part of the Motorsport UK Academy for three years.
Competing in the Welsh Road Rallying Championship between 2017 and 2019, Macaulay is already familiar with the iconic Honda Civic brand, having driven a Civic EK9 to success in the championship.
During his break from being a driver, Macaulay has worked actively as a mechanic within the British Karting scene, where he currently works with Synergy driver Finlay Lines, who has taken a total of six wins so far this year, as the two have become a successful duo together.
Ahead of his debut in the championship, Macaulay is excited to get back to circuit racing again.
“I am so excited to be able to announce my return to being a driver in UK Motorsport after a breakaway, working in Karting. I haven’t lost my enthusiasm to go racing again and for me, the Milltek Sport Civic Cup is the right place to make my return,” explained Macaulay.

The Pre-Season Launch Day takes place at Snetterton on Thursday 28th March, whilst the 2024 season gets underway proper at Brands Hatch, using the Indy circuit, on April 13-14.
