Anthony Gannon will make his return to the Milltek Sport Civic Cup at Croft, competing in his family-run team of Detail Car Care Racing.
Anthony, who was the last years Vice-champion in the Goodyear Diamond Award for mature drivers competing in the Civic Cup, made his debut in the championship and also his first year in car racing itself.
Having taken his maiden GDA win in race two of the weekend at Knockhill, Anthony then followed that up with a further five wins, taking clean sweeps at Silverstone and the Brands Hatch Finale.
Back at the wheel of the Civic EP3 he campaigned last year, the Wiltshire-based driver is ready to get his season underway at the North Yorkshire venue, where rounds nine and ten of the 2024 season will take place.
Having been a huge fan and follower of the Civic Cup, Anthony made the switch to being a racing driver last year and he is ready to go racing once more with his family-run team, where this year the Civic will have an updated livery.
“After a short break, I am excited to make a return to the Milltek Sport Civic Cup grid at Croft. It’s great to see some more drivers in the championship contending for the Diamond Trophy this season,” said Anthony.
“It’s clear that the competition has been raised for this season and we can’t wait to have some fun and get some good results along the way.”
