Dennis Strandberg joins Pro Alloys Racing for Silverstone Milltek Sport Civic Cup debut

Pro Alloys Racing welcomes experienced tin-top driver Dennis Strandberg to their ranks as the Swedish driver prepares to make his debut in this year’s Milltek Sport Civic Cup season at Silverstone.

Dennis will drive one of the teams Honda civic EP3 machines, with an eye to seeing out the rest of the season in the official TCR UK Feeder Series.

Dennis has plenty of tin-top experience, including TCR Germany, where he took two second-place finishes in the 2016 finale at the Hockenheimring, finishing behind 2024 Civic Cup race winner Josh Files.

Other series appearances include the Scandinavia Touring Car Championship, British GT, the Ginetta GT5 challenge (where he finished second in the 2015 standings) and the GT4 European Series, as well as driving for Maximum Motorsport in the BTCC.

Having competed in various series across Europe and his native Sweden, Dennis is a two-time V8 Thunder Cars Sweden champion

Having previously driven for the Maximum Motorsport in the Volkswagen Racing Cup, the Helsingborg-born driver is well-versed in one-make racing and is looking forward to the challenge of the Milltek Sport Civic Cup.

This weekend’s event will also mark the first time Dennis has gone racing after a break of over eighteen months, where he previously competed in the Scandinavia Touring Car Championship, then ran to TCR regulations.

With three races ahead of him, Dennis is excited to get back behind the wheel during a race weekend.

“They say once you have the racing bug, it never leaves you and they are right! Despite not racing for over eighteen months, I can’t wait to get going at Silverstone and join the highly competitive Milltek Sport Civic Cup,” explained Dennis.

“I’ve always enjoyed racing, whether it is Touring cars, GT or racing in one-make series and from what I’ve seen, the Civic Cup is an action-packed series to race in. I’m very grateful to Pro Alloys Racing for giving me the chance to get back in the seat.”
