Wesley Swain stays with Pro Alloys Racing for 2025

Wesley Swain has become the first driver to announce that he will make his return to the Milltek Sport Civic Cup for the 2025 season, staying with Pro Alloys Racing for a second consecutive year.

Finishing the 2024 season as the Paul Winfield Trophy Vice-champion and just nine days ago passing his driving test, Wesley will also stick with the FN2 model for the new season.

Having taken his first Paul Winfield Trophy win during the penultimate weekend of the year at Thruxton in September, Wesley followed this up with his first overall podium during the first race of the Silverstone Finale in October.

The Paul Winfield Trophy is a class for rookies and drivers with less frontrunning experience. A strong second half of the season, combined with taking two PWT wins in the final two race weekends of the 2024 season, was enough for Wesley to finish as Vice-Champion.

Staying with the same team and model means that the West Midlands-based driver goes into his second season with consistency on his side and setup knowledge of the FN2.

The 2025 Milltek Sport Civic Cup season kicks off in just over 100 days, revisiting many of the circuits that were seen this year.

Whilst moving to the British Automobile Racing Club for next year, the series retain its place as the official feeder series to the TCR UK Touring Car Championship.

In what is recognised as one of the UK Motorsports toughest club championships to compete in, staying with the same team and car for the new season will give Wesley an advantage to build upon.

“After lots of progress made in 2024, I’m looking forward to 2025, aiming to be fighting for big results and competing at the sharp end of the field,” said Wesley.

Milltek Sport Civic Cup Championship Promoter Stewart Lines is pleased to see Wesley return for a second year.

“It’s great to see Wesley confirm his return for 2025. Young drivers are now able to progress from karting into car racing and enjoy further success in the next level in their motorsport career,” explained Stewart.

“Wesley has also shown that the FN2 is now a competitive package after the development work that took place this year, and I look forward to seeing him racing at the front next season.”
