Lewis Kent is the latest driver to sign up for the 2025 season of the Milltek Sport Civic Cup, where he returns for his second full season in the championship.

Lewis stays on board with Area Motorsport for his sophomore year and, this time, aims to improve upon his 2024 season, where he finished in fourth place in the Driver’s Championship.

Staying with Rob Baker’s squad and returning to drive the EP3 shape Civic means that Lewis can use the learning and knowledge gained from 2024.

Taking a best finish of second place three times during the year, at Brands Hatch, Croft and on the Silverstone National circuit, the former two-time TCR UK Champion also suffered from some poor luck, including a wheel coming off during the opening weekend of the season at Brands Hatch.

The Essex-based driver is no stranger to the exciting and close racing of the Milltek Sport Civic Cup. Now that he has a full season under his belt, Lewis is aiming for a better season in 2025.

“I enjoyed last year; it was the most fun year racing I’ve had in a long time when you consider it was also my first year in the championship as well. It’s great to be able to stay with Area for next season, and this gives me a good base to work on over the winter,” explained Lewis.

“The goal for 2025 is to get some race wins behind me and go for the title. Considering I held my own against more experienced drivers in the Civic Cup, I’m confident that next year I can fight it out at the front. I’ve already shown I have the speed, so I’m back to fight for top honours next year.”
