Alistair Camp is back for the 2025 Milltek Civic Cup and is aiming to fight at the front as he stays with Area Motorsport and the Civic FN2.
Alistair worked hard on developing the FN2 last season and his efforts rewarded with four race wins, taken at Brands Hatch, Croft, Silverstone National and the Silverstone Finlae held in October.
Having previously driven the older EP3 model successfully in the championship, Camp wanted a change for 2024 and moved to the FN2. The move paid off as his results prove from last season.
The 2025 season begins at Donington Park on 22-23 March, where the UK’s toughest single-make club racing championship will race on the National layout.
With new drivers coming into the Milltek Civic Cup last year and again this year, Camp is eager to go out and battle out front with the title contenders.
“After developing the FN2 last year and putting it on the top step three times, I’m back for 2025 in the same car and ready go better. Staying with Area Motorsport and having a year’s knowledge of the car means I know where we can improve it further,”
“It’s great to see new drivers joining the grid. However, I’m eager to add a second title to my racing resume. I’m ready to get stuck in and mix it with the title contenders, showing them what I can do in the newer car.”
Championship Promoter Stewart Lines expressed his delight with Alistair’s return to the championship.
“It’s great to see Alistair announce his entry for 2025 at the Autosport International Show. He is one of the form drivers in the championship and showed what he could do with the FN2 in his first year driving it,” said Stewart.
“I look forward to seeing Alistair being one of the front runners this season and seeing what he can do with the FN2.”
