Adam Jackson teams up with AMW Motorsport for Milltek Civic Cup debut

Adam Jackson has teamed up with AMW Motorsport ahead of his debut season in the Milltek Civic Cup.

As a team, AMW Motorsport made their debut last year with Josh Bromley and they now return for their second season in the championship. The team will run Adam in a Civic FN2, as the numbers of the later model begin to grow on the grid for 2025.

The FN2 model scored several race wins last year and was at the front of in many of the twenty races that made up the 2024 season, despite the model being run by different teams.

Adam has previously raced in the MG Trophy for the last seven seasons, where he has enjoyed a long and successful career in the front wheel drive cars, including developing his MG’s in two different classes to become race winners and lap record holders, resulting in winning the 190 class championship in 2022.

Moving up to the Milltek Civic Cup this year means a complete change. However, Adam isn’t afraid of this and relishes the challenge of the season ahead as he works on developing his car.

“Having raced in the MG Trophy for the last seven years, I have been looking for a new challenge with big competitive grids and reasonable budgets. I’ve enjoyed watching the high level of competition in the Civic Cup for a number of years, so I thought now is the time to start building a car,” explained Adam.

“Going for the FN2, I am looking forward to the challenges of developing the car to be competitive and enjoying some close racing in my first year.”

Adams’ entry is supported by Protier Lifting Services & Lifting-Slings.org for his first year in the championship.

Championship Promoter Stewart Lines welcomes Adam to the grid for 2025.

“2025 is proving to be the year when we see a lot of new drivers and cars making their way onto the Milltek Civic Cup grid. It’s great to see so much interest in the championship, especially from so many new drivers who come from a variety of racing backgrounds,” said Stewart.

“Adam is one of the latest drivers to sign up for the new season and its great to see another FN2 on the grid. There has been a lot of interest in the FN2 and I look forward to seeing what Adam can do in his first year.”
