DMR by Ka Sales unveil 2025 Milltek Civic Cup Campaign

Dave Marshall and Mark Hughes have confirmed their return to the Milltek Civic Cup for 2025, as they embark on their fourth season together.

The DMR with the KA Car Sales squad is back for 2025, with Dave and Mark continuing with their FN2 Civic Cup cars. The team will be running a third car this season, with the identity of the third driver is to be announced shortly.

Dave and Mark have campaigned the FN2 since the 2022 season, with Dave taking his first race win in the car at Cadwell Park in 2023, whilst Mark clinched the Goodyear Diamond Award last year, for drivers with more experience on the grid.

Despite being one of the smaller teams on the grid, the DMR with the KA Car Sales squad has provided some memorable giant-killing performances in previous seasons, with 2024 as no exception.

Dave was part of the exciting on-track action in the second race Thruxton in September last year, as well as driving from 17th to fifth place at Silverstone on the National circuit in August.

Consistency was the key to Mark’s title-winning campaign as he took 13 GDT wins out of the 17 races of the 2024 season, also taking the class pole position four times out of seven race weekends.

Dave is looking forward to the new season, having worked hard on his car over the winter.

“Nothing much has changed for me over the winter. I’m the same me, in the same car, with the same team, except this time I have a better understanding of the car now. I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running and getting a good start to the season,” explained Dave.

“Being one of the smaller teams on the grid, we’re also working very hard with what we have. Being able to fight upfront with the bigger teams in the same car would be a further step forward this year.”

Mark is excited to return to the series, ready to make further progress up the field and score those all-important top-ten finishes.

“Winning the Goodyear Diamond Award last year was a brilliant feeling, however, we’ve been looking over the car again during the winter and have found some more details that have already helped me improve further,” said Mark.

“I’m excited to get back on track and see where we’ve gained whilst keeping the aim of the top ten firmly in my sights. Consistency was a massive key last year for me, so now it’s about pushing forward and improving my place in the field.”

Championship Promoter Stewart Lines is happy to see both Dave and Mark back on the grid ahead of the new season.

“Both Dave and Mark have been staunch supporters of the championship and as one of the smaller teams on the grid, both drivers have shown that you can get on the top step of the podium. Having campaigned the FN2 for several seasons now, I look forward to seeing how they both perform in 2025,” said Stewart.

“The Milltek Civic Cup caters for drivers of all backgrounds and experiences, allowing them to enjoy exciting on-track action across seven race weekends and provide the chance to take home silverware.”
