Charlie Constable is all set for his debut in this year’s Milltek Civic Cup, where he will drive for Orex Competition.

Charlie will be driving a Civic EP3 in his first year in the championship, as he graduates from junior racing.

Starting his karting career aged 11, Charlie competed in the Sodi World Series, where he finished in the top 5% of the World Ranking. Moving on to car racing, the Essex-based driver joined the Junior Saloon Car Championship in 2022 where he signed on with Orex Competition.

Finishing the 2023 season of JSCC in seventh place, Charlie graduated to driving a Volkswagen Scirocco in the Track Action Club, where he finished last season in third place.

Outside of racing, the former JSCC racer is in his second year of college, where he is learning Motorsport Mechanics with a focus on working on race setups.

2025 presents the challenge of the Milltek Civic Cup, recognised as one of the toughest club championships in UK motorsport. Having the benefit of the same team behind him, this year is all about learning the car and the championship as Charlie explains.

“I’ve been working hard over the winter and after two competitive years in the JSCC, I’m excited to make the step up to the Milltek Civic Cup along with the team at Orex Competition,” explained Charlie.

“This year I’ll be getting used to the championship and learning the car. I’m excited to be back on a competitive grid.”

Championship Promoter Stewart Lines is pleased to see Charlie confirm his entry for the 2025 Milltek Civic Cup.

“The path up the motorsport ladder from karting to junior racing can be difficult, however Charlie has shown that he is ready to take the next step in his motorsport career, by entering the Milltek Civic Cup,” said Stewart.

“We’ve seen a wave of young drivers and new drivers commit to the championship for 2025, coming from different backgrounds. It’s great to see the Milltek Civic Cup looking so strong ahead of the opening race weekend at Donington Park.”
