Spencer Stevenson will make his return to the Milltek Civic Cup at Snetterton on 13-14 September.
The 2024 Paul Winfield Trophy champion joins the 2025 field for rounds 14 and 15, reuniting with BSR, with whom he drove last year. Stevenson will join regular drivers Aiden Mitchell and Jake Renshaw at the Norfolk venue.
Taking nine PWT class wins out of seventeen races, the Northamptonshire-based driver finished the year in seventh place in the overall standings, taking a podium finish during the opening weekend at Brands Hatch.
Working hard behind the scenes to go racing once more, Spencer and his family were aiming to be back on the grid this year. Thanks to their support, the former Fiesta ST240 vice champion will return this weekend, already planning to make a full-time comeback next year.
“I’m really excited to be back on the Milltek Civic Cup grid for the upcoming event at Snetterton, and I’m really looking forward to being back with BSR. We enjoyed a great season last year, and the Civic Cup is the only championship I wanted to come back to for 2025,” said Spencer.
“I’m incredibly grateful to my family for their support in getting me back on the grid. Without the help of my father’s company, Russell James Windows and Doors, we’d still be watching from the sidelines. My aim is to enjoy my racing and settle back in at Snetterton as we focus on working towards a full-time return in 2026.”
Ben Sharpe, Team Principal of BSR, added: “Spencer had a brilliant rookie year and showed serious pace and racecraft. We’re looking forward to having him back in the car and seeing how he progresses over the weekend.”
Championship Promoter Stewart Lines is pleased to see Spencer make his return to the Milltek Civic Cup.
“It’s great to see Spencer announce his return to the Civic Cup. He hit the ground running in 2024, taking an overall podium finish in his first weekend and claiming the Paul Winfield Trophy at the end of the season,” explained Stewart.
“The Civic Cup is known as one of the toughest club racing championships in the UK, so to be able to achieve what he did last year puts Spencer in good standing for his return at Snetterton. I look forward to seeing how he shapes up against the 2025 field as we reach the penultimate event of the year.”
