Scottish driver Paul Luti is set to join the Milltek Civic Cup grid, bringing with him a strong background in one-make racing and international competition as he joins one of the UK’s most competitive single-make championships.
Luti has enjoyed notable success racing MG machinery, securing race wins and championship honours in the MG ZR170 category, establishing himself as a consistent front-running competitor in closely matched racing.
His experience also extends overseas, having competed in South Africa’s VW Supacup with Van Niekerk Racing, where he raced in highly competitive touring car machinery and further developed his race craft against strong international fields.
More recently, Luti has competed in the Audi TT Cup, achieving a top-six overall championship finish. The modern one-make series provided further experience in close, competitive racing, experience that now feeds directly into his move to the Milltek Civic Cup.
Now turning his attention to Civic Cup racing, Luti is looking forward to competing in a highly competitive one-make environment.
“The Civic Cup is extremely competitive, which is what attracted me,” said Luti. “If I can work towards the top ten that would be great, but the main aim is simply to enjoy the racing.”
Milltek Civic Cup Championship Manager Jack Finlan welcomed Luti to the grid.
“Paul brings strong one-make experience to the grid,” said Finlan. “We’re pleased to welcome him to the Milltek Civic Cup and look forward to seeing him race.”
