A special father-and-son pairing will line up on the Milltek Civic Cup grid in 2026, as Anthony Gannon returns for his fourth consecutive season alongside son Jacob Gannon, who makes his championship debut.
Anthony Gannon continues his long-standing involvement in the Milltek Civic Cup, once again racing with DCC Racing. A familiar and respected presence in the paddock, Anthony’s return reflects his consistency, commitment, and passion for the championship. The 2026 season carries added significance, as he will share the grid with his son for the first time.
Jacob Gannon steps onto the Milltek Civic Cup grid at just 18 years old, also competing with DCC Racing. Having followed the championship for more than a decade alongside his family, Jacob has grown up with the Civic Cup as a clear ambition. An established sim racer, he now makes the transition into real-world competition, bringing strong racecraft, dedication, and clear potential into his debut season.
Preparations are already underway for the new campaign, with both drivers focused on car preparation and pre-season planning ahead of the opening rounds.
“Coming back for another season is something I’m really proud of,” said Anthony Gannon. “Sharing the grid with Jacob makes this year extra special, and we’re both looking forward to the challenge.”
Jacob Gannon added: “I’ve dreamed of racing in the Civic Cup since I was a kid, so to finally be on the grid — and doing it alongside my dad — means a lot.”
