2 Seas Motorsport Team Owner Nick Cristofaro will make his debut in this year’s Milltek Sport Civic Cup, driving for BSR – Ben Sharpe Racing.
Getting behind the wheel of the team’s third Civic EP3 to be entered for the 2024 season, Nick is already known in the British Motorsport scene with his successful GT team.
Whilst 2 Seas Motorsport is set to take on a dual programme in both this year’s British GT Championship and GT World Challenge by Europe, Nick will be working just as hard as he competes in the UK’s toughest single-make club racing championship.
Nick is already familiar with the car, having raced in the 750 Motor Club Hot Hatch Championship last year, before taking second place and victory in the Mallory Park run Boxing Day Plum Pudding Races.
“I’m really pleased to be on the Civic Cup grid with the BSR – Ben Sharpe Racing team for this year. We had a great run at the end of last year, so hopefully, we can keep the momentum going,” explained Nick.
“Brands Hatch is always a great place to race, so the first rounds will be a great weekend, but I have never raced at Snetterton so that will be an exciting new challenge.”
With BSR – Ben Sharpe Racing already announcing both Harvey Caton and Will Redford as their 2024 drivers, Team Principal Ben Sharpe is confident that Nick will hit the ground running in the events he will be contesting.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Nick back to our team for the first few rounds! Nick had some stellar performances last year, including a win at Mallory Park, showcasing his remarkable talent straight out of the gates, said Ben.
Despite his commitments to his own team in British GT, meaning there will likely be no Pre-Season testing, we’re confident Nick will quickly adapt and make strides in the races he will compete in.”
The Pre-Season Launch Day takes place at Snetterton on Thursday 28th March, whilst the 2024 season gets underway proper at Brands Hatch, using the Indy circuit, on April 13-14.
